We all want a quick and easy potty training process, right?

However, potty training focusing on a calendar, days of the week, or a certain amount of time is just not the right way to teach your child how to use the potty. It’s unrealistic to expect your child to learn this huge new skill in a very short window of time.

The three-day Potty Training Method is really just a creative marketing gimmick. The focus isn’t on the actual child, and that is the absolute worst first step.

Instead, focus on the child, the toddler, the two, three, four-year-old who is actually learning this big new skill. Focus on the child who has spent the entirety of their life outside the womb in a diaper, and having this safe thing to release their pee and poop into! Understand that this is going to be a huge transition for your kid, and can not have a time limit attached to it!

With my course, Potty Party The Course, I am encouraging you to let your child lead the way. Every child is different, and every potty training journey is going to be different.

The experience of potty training is for your child, you are just there to be their biggest cheerleader- this is not something that you are doing TO them within three days… that is ridiculous!

Quick fixes rarely yield long-term success.

What I generally see with families who come to me for my help and support is that they did the three-day method- and what happened was that their child became constipated or that they will only poop in their underwear, or that they wait for their bedtime diaper and poop in that!

Nine times out of ten, can your kid learn how to pee in the potty in three days if they’re ready? Yes! Possibly!  but they’re not going to learn this whole poop process in just three days, especially if you have a slower to warm up or resistant child.

Let’s ditch the three-day method, and respect your child’s development!

We need to focus on effectively teaching your child their physical bodily cues, their emotional Readiness, and help them work through any emotional struggles when it comes to releasing their poop in the toilet.

It is so important to remember that the child psychology side of potty training is so huge. Not only is your child learning this big new physical skill, but they’re also working with a big emotional change in their lives! As much as we think it’s just something simple that we do automatically every single day, this is something that your child now has to think about! Right now they automatically pee and poop in their diaper, they need to learn to hold it, get to the bathroom, pull their pants down, sit on the toilet, pee, poop, wipe, flush, wash, all the things!

It is such a bigger process than what we give it credit for.

We really need to be giving our child the credit for doing all of these things themselves! because no matter how much you’re helping them, their body is doing this! They are really making the conscious decision to hold it, and to go to the bathroom.

Investing in a potty training course that focuses on the child, such as Potty Party the course, is a better way to teach your child how to use the potty. Focusing on the child, their needs, and their learning style is the best approach. It’s not about a quick fix or a certain amount of time, it’s about teaching your child a new skill in a way that works best for them.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and do it the Slumber and Bloom way, the right way, the first time!
