Welcome to the Slumber and Bloom blog

This is your cozy corner for real-life, research-backed support through all things sleep, potty training, and early childhood development. In this Slumber and Bloom blog, I’m here to help you navigate newborn nights, toddler bedtime battles, or potty training curveballs. You’ll find practical strategies, gentle guidance, and encouragement that meet you right where you are.

This space is here to help you feel less overwhelmed and more confident, with simple tools you can actually use in your everyday routine. Because you don’t need more noise, you need support that works in real life. Sleep well, Mom. You deserve it.

I’m Missy Yandow, the founder of Slumber and Bloom; certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant & Potty Training Coach. I specialize in supporting families of young children with sleep and potty training issues.

As a mother of three beautiful children and a former preschool teacher, I deeply understand both the challenges and wonders of parenting.

I’m on hand to guide you through whatever you are going through right now – just book a free consultation.

I’ve always had a passion for nurturing. Before I had children of my own, I was shaping young minds in the classroom, in a world of child development.

When I became a mom, my focus naturally shifted to my family, but my passion for child development remained intact. I knew I wanted to continue helping families blossom, so when I stumbled upon the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, my story began to unfold.
