Get A Potty Training Course For your Toddler

Before you even think about potty training your toddler, the first thing you should do is actually buy my course because when you go through my course I lay it out step by step and I make it such an easy process that’s why I call it the potty party because potty training is more like a party and it does not have to be intimidating.

Potty Training Tips and Supplies

Potty training doesn’t have to be this big crazy thing that you think you’re doing to your child. It’s something you’re doing with your child. And when your child is truly ready for potty training, it’s an easy process. One of the main things that I teach in my course is that you need to involve your child in the process.

This isn’t something that you’re just coming home from the store saying here’s the potty sit on it like it doesn’t work like that. You need to involve your child in choosing, let them choose as much as you want to control this let your child choose the potty that they want to use, whether it’s a standalone potty seat or something that goes on top of your existing toilet in your bathroom, or if you install one of those inserts onto your own toilet. You need to give your child the power to make that choice when they are part of this process of choosing what kind of potty they’re using. They are going to be a lot more willing to use it.

Supplies and Tips

  • Flushable toddler wipes
  • Insert that goes on top of your toilet seat
  • Squatty potty or a bench
  • Disposable diaper pad inserts
  • Cut off fluids one to two hours before sleep
  • Change of clothes
  • Car seat potty pads

Staying Dry Overnight

Now when you take my course you learn that I use the triangle method of fluid intake. I have a whole video on how to keep your child dry overnight right here. So if you’re struggling with staying dry overnight watch that video after reading this blog post. I always recommend that you cut off fluids one to two hours before sleep so that your child is not soaking through their overnight diaper. If your child is a heavy bed wetter, and they wet a lot overnight. You’ll want to make sure that you’re sizing up one size greater than what they’re wearing during the day. Do this whenever you put them down for bed.

Another thing you could do is get Sposie diaper pads. These are basically maxi pads for diapers. They enhance the absorbency of your child’s diaper. So when then they wake up in the morning you can just throw it away. One last thing that you can get are those disposable bed pads or even washable reusable ones that you can put on their bed over their sheet.
