First things first, if you have not downloaded my free baby sleep guide, then grab it today. You can get started tonight in getting more sleep for your family with the tips and tricks in this guide!
Tips on Sleep Training and Burst Nights:
- You gotta push through!
- You need to stay consistent. Because chances are, if you change your response to their crying, your child is going to start learning that no matter what they do, you are going to go in and rescue them.
- Stay on schedule; you may be thinking of switching up their schedule, but you have to stay on schedule because the more that you change their schedule the more they’re gonna have a hard time falling asleep at night or waking up more during the night.
- Have realistic expectations
- Understand that this is normal and should be expected
- Take shifts or turns with your partner so that each of you can get rest throughout the night
